Expanding Access to Safe Digging: GSOC Spanish Resources Now Available

To better serve Minnesota’s Spanish-speaking communities, GSOC has launched a Spanish Resources page within our Resource Center, making essential safe digging information easier to find, understand, and use.

The Spanish Resources page includes a growing library of downloadable materials, and each document is listed with both English and Spanish titles for easy reference. These resources are intended to help users better understand Minnesota’s safe digging laws, best practices, and communication processes before excavation begins.

In addition to downloadable documents, GSOC is proud to highlight Spanish-translated learning modules from the Common Ground Alliance (CGA).

CGA’s free online excavator curriculum in Spanish is available to everyone—not just CGA members. Whether you’re new to the industry or a seasoned professional looking to strengthen your knowledge, these modules offer:

  • Interactive, self-paced learning
  • Engaging resources and visuals
  • Knowledge checks to reinforce key concepts
  • Progress tracking through CGA’s Learning Management System (LMS)
