The 2026 Upper Midwest Locate Rodeo, hosted by the Minnesota Common Ground Alliance (MNCGA), brings utility locating professionals from across the region together for a day of skill, knowledge, teamwork, networking, and damage prevention. Taking place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Xcel Training Facility in Hugo, Minnesota, the event gives both new and experienced locators the opportunity to put their skills to the test through challenging, real-world scenarios focused on locating accuracy, speed, safety, and field expertise. The Locate Rodeo is also an opportunity to recognize the important role locating professionals play in protecting underground utilities, preventing damages, and keeping Minnesota communities safe.
Gopher State One Call is proud to help spread the word and support continued education, collaboration, and excellence within Minnesota’s damage prevention community. Throughout the day, attendees can expect opportunities to:
